If
you fail to sell your business will go under. Sales are very critical therefore
any under-performance in this area must
be a cause of concern. In this article we will highlight common reasons why

i. Time wasters
Time
wasters are those people without the intention to buy but other motives like price
shopping. The biggest effect of having time wasters is demotivation as many
people lose the drive to go on when they think they are unlikely to achieve a
successful sale. Effective pre-qualification of leads is a proven panacea to
this problem because you have to choose the right person who will buy from you.
ii. Failure to appreciate the morning schedule
The morning
schedule which is the time between when you wake up and noon is very valuable
because this is when you are fresh and your focus clear. Successful sales
people are good managers of the morning schedule. They write down all that is
needed to be done during this time and they stick to this routine as if their
lives depend on it.
